The people behind it

The team in the Arkadenhof

Behind the "Café Arkadenhof" restaurant is a dedicated team with heart, experience and attitude. The restaurant is run by siblings Christina and Michael, who have both worked in the catering industry for many years. With the Arkadenhof, they have created a space in which they can experience gastronomy as it should be: authentic, sophisticated and at the same time human.

 

Head chef Jan Tielsch plays a central role. He completed his training in renowned international establishments such as the Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin and the legendary Fat Duck in England. After working in top domestic restaurants, he now brings his experience, precision and creativity to our kitchen. For us, he is much more than just a chef, he is a real support with an eye for the big picture.

 

Our core team is complemented by long-standing colleagues in service and in the kitchen, who have become the backbone of the business with their commitment, reliability and warmth. Together we are what the Arkadenhof radiates: a real host family that works together with joy and responsibility every day.

History & Philosophy

The Arkadenhof has always been a meeting place - in the middle of Innsbruck and yet away from the ordinary. What began as a café with an inner courtyard has developed over the years into an upscale restaurant that remains true to its roots and yet is constantly growing.

 

As a family business, both continuity and change are important to us. We want to preserve what has stood the test of time and at the same time remain open to new ideas - in the kitchen, in service and in our role as hosts.

 

Our philosophy is based on three core values: quality, responsibility and togetherness. We cook with regional products, think sustainably and act fairly - towards our guests, our suppliers and our team.

 

We see gastronomy not only as a service, but also as a contribution to society: we bring people together, facilitate exchange and pass on values and knowledge.

 

For us, the Arkadenhof is more than just a restaurant - it is a living space that we continue to develop day by day. With attitude, heart and the ambition to offer our guests not just good food, but a real experience.
